Naveed has more than 16 years of investment industry experience and joined the BMO Nesbitt Burns team in 2010 as an analyst on the Investment Fund Strategy team.

In his role of as Head of IMR, Naveed leads a team of investment professionals focused on manager research across BMO Private Wealth’s various platforms including SMA, mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives and structured products. The team is responsible for manager selection, oversight, recommendations, product approval, model portfolios and supporting Investment Advisors and Investment Counsellors at BMO Private Wealth.

Prior to BMO, Naveed was at CI Institutional Asset Management as an Account Manager where he was responsible for managing strategic relationships including fund-of-funds, sub-advised accounts and fund analysts.

Naveed is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Carleton University
